During an interview on Thursday, the owner wished to thank the community who made being in business for over 39 years possible. She hopes that customers will come in and clean the place out by the deadline. Cole Johnson will have more on 2NEWSNEVADA newscasts.

The Sundance bookstore in Reno is shutting down at the end of this month after nearly 40 years in business.

On its Facebook page, the longtime bookstore says it is planning a closing celebration.

For this month, store hours will be 10 a.m. to 6.pm. Monday – Sunday.
