A suspect has been arrested in a homicide in Lovelock that happened on February 14th.
Kory Garver was booked into the Pershing County Jail on one count of open murder and one count of battery with a deadly weapon causing substantial bodily harm
On Wednesday, February 14th officers with the Lovelock Police Department responded to a report of a fight at a home on Cornell Avenue.
When officers arrived, they found an unresponsive man in the home and learned the man had allegedly been battered by the suspect.
The victim later died according to a release from the Nevada State Police.
Lovelock Police asked the Nevada State Police to assist in the investigation and working together the agencies found Garver.
The investigation is ongoing.
