The Melting Pot World Emporium & Smoke Shop will be closing after 28 years.
The Midtown store announced the closure on its Facebook page on Friday.
Although it did not announce the exact closing date, it said the doors will be closing after this year's Burning Man season.
It also said it plans to continue selling through its website and seasonal pop-ups.Â
"It has been incredibly gratifying for us to be in a position to help celebrate and encourage diversity and unity in our community by supporting the arts and fostering an atmosphere of cultural diversity,"Â said The Melting Pot in a Facebook post. "In the meantime, we have no intention of quietly fading away, but rather going out with a big hearty celebration of our long legacy!!"
