Truckee Meadows Fire and Rescue crews knocked down a structure fire in a mobile home in Sun Valley Sunday.
The fire was reported on the 5500 block of Leon Dr. at approximately 5:45pm.
Upon arrival, neighbors were attempting to extinguish the fire with a garden hose.
Officials say the residents were not home at the time of the fire.
Two dogs were found deceased.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
