Veterans reunited with their families at the Reno-Tahoe International Airport on Sunday.
A group of veterans returned from a trip through Honor Flight.
Honor Flight is a nonprofit allows veterans to visit war memorials in Washington DC for free.
"You could see the impact of the different memorials. The Iran and Iraq guys, when we went to the 9/11 memorial, they were all touched. You could see it in their faces. They explained why they joined, what made them join," said Lance Semenko.
