VFW Summer Music Festival and Fundraiser

The community came together on Saturday to raise money for local veterans while also enjoying live music.

The VFW Summer Music Festival was held on Saturday, May 25, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Reno Battle Born VFW Post 9211 near Moana and Baker Lanes.

The lineup included White Water, Patrice, Wabuska Yachting Club, Jennifer Grant, Gruve Nation, CJ Davis and Winter Light.

There were raffles with a grand prize from Tractor Supply, and cash prizes sponsored by donors. There was also a Collector's Fundraiser event including Hot Wheels, Legos, Pokémon and more.

Rail City Casino served a "Famous Ribs Dinner."

All proceeds raised at the event went to benefit local veterans.
