Protesters in Geneva have clashed with police, set a car on fire and smashed a bank's windows, just before a G7 summit in nearby France. Environmentalists, feminists and others join the protest Sunday against the G7 group of rich countries. Police used tear gas after projectiles were thrown at them and firefighters responded to a burning car. Police said the protesters included 600 “Black Block” militants. Swiss and French authorities have deployed thousands of police for the summit starting Monday. Activists have expressed frustration with U.S. President Donald Trump and other G7 leaders over various issues.
