Nearly 2,000 people were temporarily without power in the Reno-Sparks area on Monday night.
According to NV Energy's online outage map, more than 1,300 customers were without power in west Reno between West McCarran Boulevard and Mogul.
Nearly 550 lost power near Lazy 5 Regional Park.
The cause of the outages is under investigation.
