The Pack fell to Oregon State , 5-1 in the morning game and beat California Baptist, 6-2 in the mid-afternoon game.  

The Nevada softball team surged to two wins on Friday to open up the Red Desert Classic. With the 7-5 win over Weber State and 12-1 victory versus Southern Utah.

In what turned out to be one of the longest games in program history, senior Melissa Arriaga lifted the Nevada softball team to a 14-inning, 8-7, victory over Colorado State on Saturday afternoon.

After another strong outing at the plate, the Nevada softball team defeated New Mexico by a score of 8-2 on Saturday afternoon. In a seesaw battle that found both team exchanges turns with the lead, the Nevada softball team fell to Army Mules by a score of 6-5 on Sunday. The matchup moves the Pack to 3-2 through its first five games of the young season.
