UNR president Marc Johnson says plans to build, south of campus are moving forward quickly.
The RTC unveiled new plans Tuesday night on proposed changes to commuting in the South Meadows area. This is the second meeting of the South Meadows Multi-modal Transportation Study that started in March. More than 50 people showed up for the second meeting. But overall the RTC says it has received more than 3,000 comments. The proposed plans displayed Tuesday largely came out of that feedback.
The Regional Transportation Commission held a public meeting Thursday to talk about the possibility of building affordable housing near several bus stops. The organization has been conducting a study on affordable housing since March. RTC says the decisions coming out of the affordable housing study may end up affecting hundreds of people.
The Regional Transportation Commission will host a public meeting for the Keystone Avenue Corridor Study on Thursday, May 22nd at the McKinley Arts and Culture Center located at 925 Riverside Drive in Reno from 5 – 7 pm.
