The Aces and River Cats combined for eight home runs on a cool Sacramento evening, with the home team earning the victory. The Aces dropped the final game of the four-game set by a score of 12-6.
Compared to yesterday’s epic comeback win, today’s Aces game was pretty status quo as far as baseball is concerned. Reno came out on top 6-2 over Fresno in the series finale for their fourth straight win over the Grizzlies.
The Reno Aces offense failed to get the bats going at Southwest University Park Monday morning, dropping game four of the series by a score of 4-3.
The Aces won game four of this five-game series by a score of 8-1. The Aces scored eight runs on 11 hits and were led offensively by Kevin Cron who went 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBI. Yasmany Tomas also had a three-run home run, bringing his total to six on the season.
Offensively, the Aces were again led by Kevin Cron who hit three home runs for the second time in his career. Socrates Brito added two of his own.
Game three of the four-game set against the El Paso Chihuahuas went to the visiting ballclub 6-3.
