Newly revealed classified documents show that camps the Chinese government runs in the country’s far west are not for voluntary job training, as Beijing says, but for forced ideological and behavioral re-education.

The Reno Fire Department says they knocked down a fire at a home in the 1200 block of East 9th Street on Monday afternoon.

The Reno Fire Department is on scene of a working structure fire 2400 block of Riviera Street. The fire is contained, officials ask that you avoid the area, multiple apparatus blocking the road.

The Nevada Division of Forestry is seeking applications for the Volunteer Fire Assistance grant program. Approximately $200,000 from the U.S. Forest Service’s State and Private Forestry program will be available for rural (local and volunteer) fire departments statewide.
