Restaurants in Truckee are getting help with their bottom line, due to a change in California policy.
This week’s Someone 2 Know, is someone that many northern Nevadans may already know. The charismatic chef has owned restaurants in our region for 20 years and is always working on something new.
Two years ago this month, our Someone 2 Know had his food truck stolen in Reno. And as we reported at the time, the truck was recovered but essentially ruined. Individual donors stepped up to help re-build Stephon's Mobile Bistro.
Touristic Facilities
Edgewood Tahoe Resort is scheduled to open its lodge and salon on Friday. The golf course and bistro reopened last week.
Local food truck, Stephon's Mobile Bistro, was found after being stolen from its parking lot on Morrill Avenue earlier this week. Unfortunately, it won't be back in service anytime soon--because it was returned badly damaged.
We talked to a couple businesses in Tahoe City Monday and things weren't looking too good for them this season, so they're planning on changing things up with the warmer weather.
