President Donald Trump is expected to announce he is lifting a federal ban on summer sales of high-ethanol blends during a trip to Iowa on Tuesday. 

On November 1, drivers in California are going to see a controversial increase in the gas tax go into effect. It’s the first gas tax increase for the state in over 20 years.

PepsiCo is putting aspartame back in some of its diet beverages less than a year after pulling the artificial sweetener as part of a marketing move over safety concerns.

Gas prices across the region continue to rise, and area drivers are noticing. AAA estimates the average price for a regular gallon of unleaded is $2.56 in Reno. Last week, it was $2.45.
