Three people have been charged with threatening a judge, a witness and local officials connected to the investigation into the death of Nolan Wells. The 18-year-old was found dead after a July Fourth boat trip off Mississippi’s Gulf Coast. One defendant allegedly threatened to kill an unnamed witness and their family on July 31. Another person was charged the day before for allegedly placing bomb threats at the George County Chancery Clerk’s Office and the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office. And a California man was charged for allegedly sending a threatening Facebook message to a judge with ties to the Wells investigation.
