On a day that saw senior Erika Hansen rewrite the record books, the Nevada softball team kept its season alive on Thursday with a pair of wins over Utah Valley and Weber State.
Junior Kali Sargent put together arguably her best pitching performance of her Wolf Pack career on Sunday afternoon as the Nevada softball team took down Utah Valley by a score of 4-0. With her complete game shutout, Sargent helped the Pack improve to 22-24 on the season.
The University of Nevada (21-15, 11-6 MW) baseball team lost both games of a Mountain West doubleheader 3-1 and 11-6 at Air Force (18-21, 10-10 MW) on Sunday afternoon at Falcon Field. After two days of weather issues the Wolf Pack and Falcons were able to play two of the three schedule games today at the Air Force Academy.
After putting up a valiant comeback effort, the Nevada softball team fell to Boise State on Saturday by a score of 10-6 in extra innings. Heading into the Sunday’s final game of the three-game series, the Wolf Pack sits at 19-20 on the year and 8-8 in Mountain West play.

The University of Nevada baseball team’s season came to an end on Friday afternoon with a 15-5 loss to Fresno State in the Mountain West Championship. Mark Nowaczewski (6-6) suffered the loss after allowing 10 earned runs on 11 hits.
