The South Lake Tahoe Firefighters Association says crews are currently trying to cap a gas leak on Tata Lane between 10th Street and Lake Tahoe Blvd.

A gas leak temporarily closed the area near Galletti Way and 4th Street late Friday morning. The leak has since been capped, and the road reopened to traffic.
The Sierra County Sheriff's Office says it has found a small plane that went missing last month in the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range.
