DMV’s decision earlier this week to suspend remote access to its DashPass queue systems in four Las Vegas offices and Reno is showing positive results in just the first few days, according to DMV Director Troy Dillard.

The Nevada DMV DashPass system previously allowed people to virtually check-in online or through a smartphone instead of having people come into the office and wait. It was created to shorten the wait time for visitors. The problem was people would sign up for appointments online, and then never show up!
