The Washoe County School Board has cut its list of applicants to fill Dave Aiazzi's seat to five. The board met Thursday to discuss its list of 17 applicants. They are all interested in representing District E in the Washoe School District.
The Washoe County School District Board of Trustees is inviting interested members of the community to apply for the seat being vacated by Trustee Dave Aiazzi, who is resigning effective Nov. 5. In accordance with Nevada Revised Statutes, the Board will publicize the vacancy and seek applications until 5 p.m. on Oct. 27.
