A political action committee, Healthy Nevada PAC, is supporting a number of candidates in state races. This PAC is funded by the Pharmaceutical Research & Manufacturers of America Better Government Committee. 

A Nevada Legislative Commission on Tuesday voted to give final approval to permanent regulations for recreational marijuana. The Nevada Tax Commission approved the guidelines last month.

Nevadans have been able to use marijuana legally since January first, but regulations still have to be put into place before it can be sold legally, starting in 2018.
