District Attorney Dick Gammick is busy these days packing up his office and getting ready for retirement. He leaves office next month and his service in Northern Nevada has spanned 40 years, with the last two decades serving as Washoe County's District Attorney.

The Washoe County District Attorney's Office announced its Fraudulent Check Program has collected $8,362,760 owed to local creditors and business operators. The program was established in 1992.
