Mookie Betts has returned to the Los Angeles Dodgers' lineup after a five-week absence due to an oblique injury. Betts hit second in the series opener against the San Francisco Giants. Manager Dave Roberts says Betts will start at shortstop on Monday and Tuesday, then rest on Wednesday. The Dodgers have struggled recently, losing eight of their last 12 games. Before his injury, Betts was batting .179 with two home runs after opening spring training on an offensive tear.
