After last year's winter season, our water table is doing well overall, but with our recent dry weather the drought monitor is getting a little worse. We are in the abnormally dry level right now in western Nevada which means we're rather dry, but not in a drought yet.
It's that time of year again, when thousands of visitors from around the country and even across the globe, flock to the Silver State. This means some packed stores around the Reno-Sparks area, for those getting ready to hit the road for burning man.
After widespread flooding around northern Nevada Sunday, you can still find pockets of water scattered around neighborhoods, while residents work to clean up the mess left behind.
