The Bureau of Land Management is seeking public input on the management of wild horses in the Pine Nut Mountains. The BLM will be developing a 10-year plan to manage wild horses in the Pine Nut Mountains that could include wild horse gathers, implementation of population growth control measures and public education and outreach.
Despite the protests of a rancher and rural county, the U.S. Bureau of Land Management has returned some 160 wild horses to the range in central Nevada.
