The Biggest Little City took game one from the Oklahoma City Dodgers by a score of 5-2. Ildemaro Vargas extended his current hit streak to 30 games tonight with a double to left field and is one hit away from tying former Ace Jake Elmore for the longest in franchise history.

Christian Walker and the Aces homered past the El Paso Chihuahuas in game one of the four-game set Thursday night. With help from a five-hit performance from Juniel Querecuto, Reno defeated El Paso 8-2.

Offensively, the aces were led by Yasmany Tomas who went 2-for-4 with an RBI single and a triple.

The Aces had just about everything working for them on Thursday night in Nashville. Starter Jake Buchanan was magnificent, allowing just one earned run in seven innings of work.

The Reno Aces rebounded from a 3-1 series defeat with a game-one victory over the Fresno Grizzlies.
