Senior Megan Sweet went 1-for-2 with a three-run home run and freshman Brooke Bolinger struck out seven in a complete game effort as the Nevada softball team took the opening game of a three-game set against New Mexico, 5-1.

Freshman Brooke Bolinger posted a complete game victory for the second-consecutive day and sophomore Jennifer Purcell continued her hot hitting in a split of Saturday action at the Grizzly Classic. Purcell went 6-for-6 with three doubles, a home run and six RBI on Saturday for the Wolf Pack (17-5). She has now recorded a hit in nine-consecutive at-bats with the NCAA being 13-straight. Sophomore Jennifer Purcell went 3-for-3 with a run scored and an RBI and freshman Brooke Bolinger picked up five strikeouts in a complete game effort as the Nevada softball team topped Montana, 3-0.

Despite solid pitching from sophomore McKenna Isenberg and senior Megan Dortch, the Nevada softball team was unable to get anything going offensively against one of the conference's top pitchers in Fresno State's Jill Compton as the Wolf Pack fell to the first-place Bulldogs, 6-0.

Senior Karley Hopkins went 3-for-4 with a career-high five RBI and senior Megan Dortch tossed five innings of relief to earn the win as the Nevada softball team topped in-state foe UNLV, 10-5

Despite the second-consecutive complete game performance from senior Megan Dortch, the Nevada softball team was topped by New Mexico on a walk-off hit in the bottom of the seventh.

Despite a strong outing from sophomore McKenna Isenberg and two-hit afternoons from junior Jasmine Jenkins and senior Ashley Butera, the Nevada softball team could not get anything going at the plate as Utah State topped the Wolf Pack, 5-0.

Junior Jasmine Jenkins' RBI single through the left side scored senior Karley Hopkins and served as the game-winning hit for the Nevada softball team as the Wolf Pack topped Idaho State in extra innings, 9-8, on Sunday afternoon at Hixson Park.  

Sophomore McKenna Isenberg threw six innings of relief and retired the first 12 batters she faced but it wasn't enough as the Nevada softball team fell to Oregon State, 6-4, in day two of the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic.
