Kyle Van Noy got the Detroit Lions' attention during the 2012 season when they were scouting defensive end Ezekiel "Ziggy" Ansah at Brigham Young. The Lions drafted Van Noy, an outside linebacker, in the second round of the NFL draft Friday night with the 40th overall pick after moving up five spots in a trade with Seattle.
