The Oakland Raiders have hired former NFL Network draft analyst Mike Mayock as their new general manager.
The NFL Network is reporting that the San Francisco 49ers made free-agent quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo the highest-paid player in NFL history on Thursday.
The Oakland Raiders are expected to make their effort to move to Las Vegas official by filing for relocation with the NFL.
"Thursday Night Football" will air on both CBS and NBC next season. The NFL announced Monday that it had agreed to a two-year deal with the networks. CBS had broadcast games in partnership with NFL Network the past two seasons.
The National Football League will team with long-time broadcast partner CBS to produce and televise Thursday Night Football for the 2014 season.
