School just got out a few weeks ago and it's no fun to think about going back, but that's just what Volunteers of America is doing right now. The non-profit organization has kicked off their annual Operation Backpack.

A Reno business is helping a local family raise money to treat their baby's rare kidney disease. We met with the family today at Salon 7 in Reno where this weekend's "cut-a-thon" benefit will be held.
