Pope Francis has issued a new law requiring all Catholic priests and nuns around the world to report clergy sexual abuse and cover-ups.

The Vatican is clarifying comments by Pope Francis about a case of what he called "sexual slavery" within a French congregation of nuns, saying he was referring to an abuse of power that was reflected in instances of sexual abuse.

Mother Teresa will be made a saint on Sept. 4.

A federal judge has formally sentenced Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev to death for the 2013 terror attacks. Earlier Tsarnaev said that he's sorry for the irreparable harm he's caused and that he prays for the victims.
