Nevada swimming and diving standout Rebecca Murray was selected to represent Nevada as its 2019 NCAA Woman of the Year nominee.  

A two-time conference champion in swimming and a three-time All-Mountain West football star have been selected as the recipients of the year’s most outstanding senior student-athlete awards.

Senior Sharae Zheng made history Saturday night during the final day of the 2018 Mountain West Swimming & Diving Championship, bringing home the gold in the platform dive. With a score of 303.72, Zheng’s victory marked her eighth Mountain West diving championship, a conference record in gold medals.

The University of Nevada swimming and diving team opened day one of the Mountain West Championships with strong performances, receiving a title from freshman diver Sharae Zheng and a school record, NCAA ‘A” cut time in the 800-yard freestyle relay.
