The Nevada softball team added two wins to the books and is now 3-8 on the year. In the rematch with Utah Valley, the Pack dominated at the plate with six runs on a dozen hits to win, 6-2. The afternoon session against Saint Mary's saw the Pack win, 7-2 .

Following its dramatic extra innings win on Friday, the Nevada softball team found itself in a pitcher’s duel on Saturday as the team fell to San Diego State by a score of 4-1. The Wolf Pack (18-18, 7-6 MW) will head into Sunday’s rubber match against the Aztecs (13-25, 4-7 MW) looking to claim its third series victory of the 2018 campaign. The Nevada softball team suffered a heart-breaking loss on Saturday as the Wolf Pack fell to Utah State by a score of 11-10. The Wolf Pack (16-16, 5-4 MW) used a four-run seventh inning to take a two-run lead into the bottom of the seventh, but the Aggies (13-18, 3-6 MW) scored three times in the final inning to win game. 

Playing its first games inside Hixson Park this season, the Nevada softball team split its doubleheader contest with the New Mexico Lobos on Saturday. After winning the first game of the day by a score of 16-8, the Wolf Pack (13-15, 2-3 MW) fell to the Lobos (8-23, 2-3 MW) 6-7. The 16 runs Nevada scored the first game tied a season high for most runs scored in a game. 

For the second time in as many days, the Nevada softball team found itself in a tight matchup as the Wolf Pack came out on top of Northern Colorado on Saturday by a score of 2-1. With the win on the final day of the UC Davis Tournament, the Pack improves to 11-12 on the year.
