A Ukrainian man wanted in connection with the 2022 Nord Stream pipeline explosions has been arrested in Croatia. German prosecutors say the suspect, a trained scuba diver, was part of a group that planted explosives on the pipelines in the Baltic Sea. The explosions damaged the pipelines, which were built to carry Russian gas to Germany, adding to tensions over the war in Ukraine. The suspect, identified as Volodymyr Zhuravlov, was previously arrested in Poland but released when a court refused extradition. Another suspect, a former Ukrainian army officer, was charged last month in Germany.
