Actor Selma Blair was arrested after she was accused of injuring two flight attendants on a trip from Los Angeles to New York. She also faces charges that she assaulted a police officer and a nurse after she was taken to a hospital. Authorities said Monday that Blair was detained late Sunday after the Delta Air Lines jet landed at John F. Kennedy International Airport. Late Monday she was still in custody, awaiting arraignment on assault charges at a court in Queens. A Blair representative told The Associated Press that the actor had a medical emergency that led to the alleged conduct. The FBI case will be handled in federal court in Brooklyn. No date has been set.
