Jordan Caroline's time with the Los Angeles Lakers summer squad came to an end, but his time with the Lakers organization hasn't. The team announced its signing of former Nevada basketball standout Jordan Caroline. Per team policy, the terms of Caroline's deal have not been released. But, this guarantees Caroline a spot in training camp where he'll try to make the cut for the Lakers final roster before the team's season opener in October.

Second-year Nevada football coach Jay Norvell announced the signing of 17 players to National Letters of Intent on the opening day of the early signing period on Wednesday.

Abend, a native of Israel, was a regular starter with Louisville FC during the championship season in the midfield. He scored his first and only goal on Sept. 2 and provided a defensive presence all season long recording 30 clearances, 2 blocks and 39 interceptions in 2017.
