Researchers are studying crops that could be more sustainable in Nevada during dry years.

The Agriculture Department has announced a $12 billion 'short-term' emergency aid package to help farmers affected by tariffs on their crops.  

Drought conditions are expanding across a large section of the U.S., from California to the Great Plains.
