Michael Harris II tripled and scored the go-ahead run on a wild pitch, leading the Atlanta Braves past the Los Angeles Dodgers 3-2 to even the National League Division Series at a game apiece. Harris added an RBI double in the seventh. The Braves chased Dodgers starter Blake Snell after 3 2/3 innings. Atlanta relievers retired 14 consecutive Dodgers hitters before Max Muncy's two-strike, two-out homer in the ninth. The Dodgers' Freddie Freeman tied the game on a solo shot in the fourth. After a travel day, the series resume with Game 3 on Tuesday in Atlanta.

Ray Kerr is becoming an unlikely postseason hero for the Atlanta Braves. The former convenience store worker struck out Shohei Ohtani in the Braves' 3-2 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers. The victory evened their National League Division Series at one game each. Kerr, a lefty reliever, found out in the morning that he'd be starting Game 2 on Sunday night. He allowed two hits, struck out four and walked one in 2 2/3 innings. Kerr was also the opener in the Braves' NL Wild Card Series Game 3 clincher over the Philadelphia Phillies.

He passed for 225 yards and two touchdowns, and Kenneth Walker III rushed for 177 yards and two TDs to lead the Kansas City Chiefs to a 30-27 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders. Walker’s 2-yard touchdown run with 3:21 left put the Chiefs ahead for good at 23-19. It was set up by Tyquan Thornton’s 55-yard reception on the previous play. Thornton suffered a serious injury on the catch and was carted off the field. Kirk Cousins passed for 365 yards and two touchdowns for the Raiders, who fell to 3-1. The Chiefs are 4-0.
