In its final non-conference road game of the season, the Nevada women’s basketball team defeated Seattle U, 74-65, Saturday evening at the Connolly Complex. The Wolf Pack improved to 5-4 on the season and put itself in a position to finish non-conference play with a winning record with two games remaining.
Caleb Martin knocked down 9 of 15 shots from the field and finished with a career-high 26 points to help Nevada remain unbeaten with an 81-68 win over Davidson on Tuesday night. Josh Hall added 17 points on 6-of-7 shooting, including 5 of 6 from 3-point range, and Jordan Caroline just missed his third double-double of the season with 16 points and nine rebounds for the Wolf Pack (5-0).
With 108 points on the night, the Pack recorded the second-most points in program history.
The Nevada women’s basketball team outscored its opponent in the second half by 14 points, but the Pack’s effort was not enough as the team fell, 81-69.
In its first triple-overtime game in program history, Nevada women’s basketball grinded out a 67-59 victory over Hawai’i on Sunday afternoon inside Lawlor Events Center.
In a game that saw a hard-fought battle from the Wolf Pack, the Nevada women’s basketball team fell to UC Irvine on Thursday evening, 72-59. The Pack (4-3) were led by its junior point guard T Moe, who tied her season-high with a team-best 18 points.
Tyron Criswell scored a career-high 32 points and Cameron Oliver added a career-best 28 as the Nevada basketball team raced to an 85-70 quarterfinal win over Eastern Washington.
The Reno Bighorns won 110-104 tonight.
A win at UNLV would guarantee at least the third seed in the upcoming conference tournament.
