Reno 1868 FC topped Club America’s U20 team tonight, winning 3-2 in the international friendly. The team will continue USL play on Wednesday in Oklahoma City.
Reno 1868 FC has acquired defensive midfielder Will Seymore on loan from FC Cincinnati.
Reno’s incredible USL unbeaten streak was extended Saturday thanks to forward Mo Thiaw’s heroics as Reno captured a 2-1 win over Western Conference foe San Antonio FC. In front of a crowd of 4,565 fans, Reno extended its USL undefeated streak to eight-straight and moved into the Top 8 in the Western Conference after a thrilling win.
Dane Kelly, the USL’s all-time leading scorer and Reno 1868 FC’s star forward, was named the USL’s Most Valuable Player on Wednesday.
Reno 1868 FC midfielder Chris Wehan was named USL Rookie of the Year on Tuesday, capping off an incredible season from one of the brightest stars in U.S. Soccer. After going undrafted in the MLS SuperDraft out of New Mexico, Wehan capitalized on the opportunity to earn a starting role with Reno during the club’s inaugural season.

Playoff-bound Reno 1868 FC has claimed the No. 1 spot in USL's Power Rankings Reno jumped to an undisputed No. 1 ranking for the first time this season following a nine-goal week that featured two wins. The club, which is in its inaugural season, broke the USL record for most goals in a single season and has 69 so far. Reno is also two points out of first place in the USL’s Western Conference.

Reno 1868 FC etched its name into the USL record books Monday night, with a 9-0 win over LA Galaxy II. The win in front of 5,140 fans was the largest win in USL history and the game was in Reno’s hands from the start. An own goal by LA Galaxy’s Castellanos made it 1-0 Reno in the third minute.
