United Way of Northern Nevada and the Sierra is seeking volunteers to assist in preparing tax returns in 2015 at various Volunteer Income Tax Assistance sites throughout northern Nevada.

AARP and VITA/TCE Volunteer Preparers have partnered with the Washoe County Library System to offer free tax help to low to moderate income taxpayers.

Students volunteer to prepare tax returns, and in return for helping the community, they receive credit in their Federal Tax Accounting class at UNR, so it's a win-win situation.
