CHERYL TADDEI

The Plumas County Sheriff's Office needs the public's help finding a missing woman around Upper Lake, Lake County.

Cheryl Taddei was reported missing on November 25 after her father had not heard from her for several days.

According to the Sheriff's Office, after information was obtained during the investigation, it led deputies to believe that Taddei and her husband were returning from a trip to the Mendocino County coast on November 19. Then, at approximately 1:30 p.m., Taddei took off after she exited their car during an argument near the roundabout intersection of Highway 20 and Highway 407 in Upper Lake, Lake County.

Deputies say she has not been seen since.

Taddei is 52 years old and is known to be carrying a duffel bag, a backpack,  several plastic grocery bags and is accompanied by her tan Chihuahua. She was also last known wearing a t-shirt, a blue denim skirt, and black slip-on shoes.

Taddei has distinctive tattoos, including a tiger on her right shoulder and multiple tattoos on her right arm depicting a spider, a “fairy,” and the name “Johnny.” She is missing all of her upper teeth and does not have dentures.

According to deputies, she has ties to Greenville and Crescent Mills in Plumas County. There is also concern for her safety and welfare due to the length of time since her last contact with family.

Anyone who has seen Taddei, recognized the described tattoos, or had information about her whereabouts is urged to contact the Plumas County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch at (530) 283-6300 or their local law enforcement agency. You can also call 911 if an emergency arises.
