A man from Stockton, California, was arrested in Sparks on Wednesday on multiple drug and gun charges.

On September 23, detectives with the Regional Crimes Suppression Unit, with help from a Reno Police Department K9 Unit, arrested 32-year-old Raymello Brown.

In the course of an investigation into Brown, detectives allegedly saw him involved in numerous hand-to-hand narcotic transactions in the area of Henry Orr Parkway, according to a release from the Sparks Police Department.

Detectives served search warrants at two separate homes, finding 323.36 gross grams of fentanyl, constituting more than 161,000 lethal doses with a street value of more than $47,000.

Four guns were also recovered, as well as ammunition, fentanyl manufacturing paraphernalia, and over $60,000.

Brown is a convicted felon and is prohibited from having guns.

He was taken to the Washoe County Jail and booked on the following charges.

  • Possession of a controlled substance for sale x3

  • Sales of a controlled substance x3

  • Attempted sales of a controlled substance

  • Prohibited person possess firearm x4

  • Possession of a firearm with obliterated serial number

  • Trafficking in a controlled substance

  • Manufacturing of a controlled substance
