A 117-year-old building in downtown Reno is about to undergo renovations. 

Metcalf Builders announced Tuesday, May 22nd, that they have been retained for the renovation of the building, known as One 18 West Apartments. 

Once used as a boarding house during the Comstock Era - and eventually will be turned it into a modern-living apartment complex.   

Once completed, the One 18 West Apartments will offer 86 new units, 47 will be studio apartments and the remaining 39 will be one-bedroom residences, as well as a fitness center and future retail spaces.

The project, valued at $13.2 Million, is anticipated to be completed sometime in May 2025.Â
