Life Changes, Inc. is inviting the community to a night of spooky fun and sweet treats during its annual Trunk or Treat event on Saturday, October 25.
The celebration will take place at its office located at 541 West 2nd Street in Reno, starting at 3 p.m.
The event will feature decorated cars filled with candy, a chili cook-off, a bake sale, a costume contest, music, and games for all ages.
Organizers say the goal is to bring people together for a safe, family-friendly Halloween celebration while also giving back to the community.
This year’s bake sale will raise money to help single parents enroll their children in local sports programs. “Because every child deserves the chance to play, grow, and belong,” organizers said.
People are encouraged to decorate their car trunks, wear costumes, and join the chili competition. Spaces for trunk decorators are limited, and those interested can reserve a spot by emailing LC@LifeChangesInc.org.
The chili cook-off begins at 3 p.m., where participants can taste a variety of recipes ranging from mild to spicy and vote for their favorite.
