Reno residents can support local families while enjoying a Thanksgiving treat at the Peppermill Reno.
The Casino Resort Spa will host its 10th annual 'Pie it Forward Bake Sale' on Sunday, November 23, selling freshly baked pumpkin pies for $10 each.
All proceeds will go directly to the Food Bank of Northern Nevada.
The sale will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., or until supplies last, in the Peppermills' hotel lobby located at 2707 S. Virginia Street in Reno.
The Food Bank of Northern Nevada serves approximately 160,000 people each month across a 90,000-square-mile area. Last year, the organization distributed more than 23 million meals.
According to organizers, 100% of Pie it Forward proceeds will directly assist those in the region through the food bank.
The annual bake sale gives the public a chance to contribute to hunger relief efforts in Northern Nevada while enjoying a seasonal treat.
