Toyota Tacoma

Two people face charges after leading Mineral County deputies on a pursuit in Hawthorne, through the Army depot. 

Deputies say they tried to pull over a stolen Toyota Tacoma at U.S. 95 mile marker 52 last Friday morning.

That's when they say the driver led deputies on a chase, crashing through a fence at the Hawthorne Army Depot until the truck somehow got stuck.

Deputies say the driver ran into the depot's magazine area until K9 Nora eventually and successfully found the driver.

There's no immediate word on how the second suspect was arrested.  

The suspects, whose names haven't been released, were booked into the Mineral County Detention Center for:

*  Possession of a stolen vehicle

*  Stop required upon the signal of Peace officer

*  Reckless driving

*  Reckless driving with property damage

*  Speeding

*  Possession of a controlled substance

*  Non-resident suspended driver’s license driving left of center

*  Possession of a dangerous drug without a prescription
