Washoe County introduces its WOARF Dashboard and an Opioid Use Needs Assessment Survey to transparently track opioid settlement funds and gather community input for effective recovery solutions.
The County says it is actively addressing the opioid crisis through transparent and data-driven approaches, as well as community collaboration.Â
The Washoe Opioid Abatement and Recovery Fund (WOARF) Dashboard, is an interactive tool designed to provide real-time tracking of opioid settlement funds and their impact on the community.
This platform ensures that the funds are utilized effectively to support prevention, treatment, and recovery programs.
In addition to the dashboard, Washoe County is conducting an Opioid Use Needs Assessment Community Survey.
This survey aims to gather input from residents to help identify and prioritize the most significant needs regarding opioid use in the region.
The County says the feedback will guide future investments, align resources with community needs, and contribute to collaborative solutions for long-term improvements.
