Snowy conditions are bringing slick conditions and chain controls to roads in the Sierra on Tuesday evening.

Chain controls are currently in place on portions of I-80, as well as parts of State Route 88, State Route 89, and State Route 267 in California.

Chain controls are also in place on Mount Rose Highway, State Route 28, and U.S. 50, in addition to State Route 207 in Nevada.

Snow is expected to keep falling through the night, and a Winter Weather Advisory is in place for the greater Lake Tahoe area through 4 p.m. on Wednesday.
