A family is offering a $10,000 reward for the return of their lost pet.
They said their 8-year-old Cairn Terrier, Brandon, went missing on Friday, September 27.
They said he was last seen on Sunday afternoon around 2 p.m. when a female driver spotted him walking on a Caughlin Parkway sidewalk near Eagle's Nest.
The family says the dog entered the trail of Eagle's Nest and Pinebluff after that.
The family says he has a limp on his left hind leg because of a torn ACL. He is scheduled for surgery on Wednesday, October 2.
If you have any information on his whereabouts, you can contact the family at (775) 690-3545.
They said he is afraid of strangers but is a bit feisty with other dogs. He was not wearing a collar on the day he went missing, but he is microchipped.
