Washoe County's Human Services Agency is turning the county blue this April for National Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Month.
They are encouraging community members to wear blue clothing, ribbons, and help by planting blue pinwheels throughout the community.
The human services agency received almost 7,000Â reports of child abuse during the 2018 fiscal year.
